This is my contents page planning. I had to plan where my pictures would go, what additional information would be on my page, the colours/house style, what stories I would have and what pages they would be on.
The house style and colours have been kept the same as my front cover to bring the magazine together. The background will be the same colour and the text will be the same font and colour.
The cover lines on the font cover will match the stories plus some additional ones.
The main cover line on the front page will be the biggest most eye catching story on the page, so that readers know it is the most important.
I also plan to have an advertisement for subscription to the magazine as many do.
I have also planned where to have each of the stories. The layout will be similar to the front cover, ’messy’ to represent the rock/indie genre. There will be a range of boxes so that the information is still somewhat organised.
